These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Domus Improvements website and set out the general basis on which we provide quotes and building services. By using this website you agree to these Terms. Any building project we carry out is governed by a separate written project agreement, which prevails over these general Terms for that project.
Domus Improvements provides renovation and building services across London and the Home Counties. Our insurance and accreditation details are available on request.
Quotes are based on the information available and, where possible, a site survey. A quote is valid for the period stated on it and is not binding until confirmed in a written project agreement signed by both parties. Prices may be affected by matters that only become apparent once works begin (for example, hidden structural issues), which are handled as variations (see below).
The agreed scope of works is set out in your project agreement. Changes you request, or works needed due to conditions discovered on site, are agreed as written variations with any cost and time impact before they proceed. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and to obtain any permissions required from third parties (for example, freeholders or neighbours) where relevant.
Payment terms, including any deposit and stage payments, are set out in your project agreement. Invoices are payable by the date stated; late payment may incur interest and reasonable recovery costs as permitted by law.
Completed works are covered by our workmanship guarantee, and we carry public liability insurance, as described in our Guarantee & Complaints page. Where works are notifiable, we work to the applicable building regulations.
Website content, including project descriptions and images, is provided for general information and may show illustrative or representative examples. It does not constitute a quote or a guarantee of a particular outcome for your project. Do not copy or reuse site content or images without permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from website use is excluded; liability arising from building works is governed by your project agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force when you engage us applies.
